A pilgrimage is a journey to a sacred destination. Northern India is saturated with shrines, peaks, streams, and paths. It isn’t supposed to be easy. The harrowing roads hug steep and unstable mountainsides. You may have to hike longer than expected, choose between a helicopter or donkey, and navigate monkeys and donkey dung.
Join us for a vivid slideshow of Renee’s adventure into the Himalayas. There are wide vistas, steep trails, camping, endless waterfalls, and all kinds of shrines. See an archetypal town right out of a western, and enjoy a sunny day tromping into the spectacular Valley of Flowers.
